Our Facilities

The Mulberry Bush Nursery occupies beautiful accommodation which is situated in a spectacular rural location in the Lune Valley. With a recently improved and refurbished learning area, the children have a great range of facilities at their dispense, enhancing both their education and happiness along with a warm, caring and fun-loving team help everyone to engage in all they do.

The Mulberry Bush provides a nurturing environment where children can excel to achieve their full potential with facilities that have been designed to educate and entertain. With a free flow classroom arrangement children are able to experience a home from home surrounding. Operating with a traditional nursery design, emphasis is on creating a minimalist, serene, light and spacious nursery which contains equipment to encourage all areas of development within each age group. With two large teaching and play rooms and sole access to the Nursery schools very own reading room and library each child has the freedom to learn and develop through exploration. The Mulberry Bush also provides spacious cloakroom and nappy changing facilities for each age group.

The nursery itself is well equipped with interactive technology and white boards and there is a rolling programme of improvement of ICT facilities. Children will also have access to the mobile iPad suite to aid their learning and encourage them to explore, create and play, using their imaginations inside and out of the classroom. As part of a prep school nursery pupils will benefit from all facilities on site, such as our indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall and field, tennis courts and the music and drama departments.
