At The Mulberry Bush, our core values of caring, creative, curious and courage help to develop highly motivated and successful young learners. Ofsted described us as a "postive, caring nursery" where "children are happy" (Oftsed report 2024)
Our nursery and pre-school is a home from home, providing superior care for children aged 6 months to four years. Based at Casterton, Sedbergh Preparatory School, the facility offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities for your child to choose from. There is easy parent parking for drop offs and pick-ups, flexible hours, home-cooked food, extensive grounds and all-weather outdoor play areas in a spacious, safe environment with the highest standard of professional care.

OUR ETHOS
We are proud of our key ethos ‘to place children at the heart of everything we do,’ which results in highly individualised learning experiences for every child in our care. Our staff have high expectations of what every child can achieve and "children make good progress in all areas of their learning." (Ofsted 2024)
The Mulberry Bush provides a unique selection of opportunities, alongside state of the art equipment, found within a secure environment. At the start of term you and your child will be introduced to your designated key worker from the nursery team. This essential link enables us to create a strong relationship with you and your child to enhance their development whilst at nursery.
